Dr. Ira Klemons holds a DDS from New York University and a PhD from Pennsylvania State University, where he completed the first U.S. doctorate degree focused on head and facial pain, as well as temporomandibular joint dysfunctions. For more than 40 years, he practiced as the director of the Center for Headaches and Facial Pain, located in South Amboy, New Jersey. In addition to treating pain, Dr. Ira Klemons helped individuals with sleep apnea issues.

During his career, Dr. Klemons visited as a lecturer at the New Jersey Medical School and the Catholic University de Salta in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He coauthored multiple text and guidebooks on topics related to evaluating, diagnosing, and treating chronic pain. For his commitment to health care, he received a commendation from the Senate of New Jersey.

In his leisure time, Dr. Ira Klemons enjoys traveling and exploring the countryside. He visits his children whenever possible and recently attended Hamilton, a Broadway musical featuring choreography by his daughter. Dr. Ira Klemons is retired from clinical practice and now consults for other professionals.
